Midwinter Again [Dec. 18th, 2013|05:25 pm]
Oh sure I should post this here too...

I had a trip to Ontario a couple of weeks ago and managed to dance around bad weather. When I was there it was quite mild, while Vancouver was uncommonly cold. Then after I came back Ontario got cold again, piles of snow now, while I walk around here with just a hoodie or light jacket.

It appears to have been a month since I posted anything here. So let's start with a comic I drew on my way back from Ontario.

At some point I realized that I had enough drawings to do a couple more little collections of the tiny astonaut "explorer", so I finished off the series I did with him and Mega-j, and then forged on to finish up the series of him in the forest.

When I was in Ontario I had a quiet moment and decided to check out Marc Maron's comedy special on netflix, since I quite enjoy his WTF podcast and hadn't actually heard any of his comedy. I was inspired to do this drawing of him.

This is a drawing I did a while back, working towards a story I am planning to start next year.

And here is a song by a band I have been digging.

Welcome back!

Your clouds coming out of the ground remind me a lot of giant monsters appearing out of smokey holes in the ground in the Hellboy/BPRD comic series. Very specific memory, but what are you going to do?

I really enjoy your stream of thought travel series. Keep them up!

Thanks! I always enjoy having a comics record of my travels. Glad someone enjoys them.
